Harry and Rekha
A Chinatown name known overseas.
Established in 1982, with combined tailoring experience going back to 1965, Happy Harry's has become a well known name in Singapore and overseas for fine tailoring and customer satisfaction. In the shop's own words: the list could go on, but they prefer to show.
Customers meet Harry and Rekha themselves, get straight advice on cloth and cut, and walk out days later with something made for them alone.

What do you tailor?
Men's suits, tuxedos, mandarin collar classics, overcoats, shirts and trousers, plus ladies' blouses, dresses, suits and overcoats. Batik shirts come off the shelf or tailor-made.
How long does a suit take?
Fast. One reviewer's suit with trousers was ready in 4 days, another had his made within a few days of first walking past the shop. Tell Harry your deadline and he will tell you honestly what is possible.
What fabrics do you carry?
The house specialism is wool blends and cashmere, plus a summer collection of linens and silk fabrics.
Do I need to re-measure on a return visit?
No. Your measurements and details are kept on file. One customer came back after three years and everything was still there, ready to go.

254 South Bridge Road in Chinatown, right beside the Sri Mariamman Temple. Look for the yellow Happy Harry's Tailors signboard at number 254.
When are you open?
Seven days a week. Monday to Saturday 10am to 5:30pm, Sunday 11am to 2:30pm. If you work in town, a weekday lunch visit to a tailor near Chinatown MRT is easy.
